What's Happening

Lots of things are happening at Sew Complete this fall. We have a new class schedule that includes brand new class offerings, a listing of our ongoing clubs and workshops (which new people are welcome to join) and lessons for new machine owners. We will host two different "Test Before You Invest" events. If you are interested in machine embroidery, our "Test Before You Invest" for embroidery will be held Thursday, September 22, 5-8 p.m. Participants will get a small taste of the many things today's home embroidery machines cant do. We will have machines ready for you to try. Please register by noon on September 20. Our "Test Before You Invest for Sergers" will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 5-8 p.m. Participants will see examples of things that they can do with a serger and then have a chance to try some of these techniques on our sergers. Please register by noon on Saturday, October 15. There is no cost for either of these events, but we appreciate your reservation so that we have time to prepare enough fabric kits.

Halloween Party! On Friday, October 28, 3:30-5:30 p.m. & again on Saturday, October 29, 10 a.m.-Noon, we invite you to come as a group, or individually and help us make a difference in our community by sewing fun and simple projects for people in need. Wear a costume if you wish. We will have Halloween refreshments. (This is an open house format—come as you can, leave when you must.)

This year, our popular Sew Holiday Weekend will be held
Friday and Saturday, November 11 & 12.

• Bodacious Bag: Friday, November 11, 5-9 p.m. make a fabulous bag, and we provide supper.
• Placemats & Circle Napkins: Saturday, November 12, 8 a.m.-Noon Come for breakfast and create placemats that will be fun to use through the winter season—they make a great gift, too.
• Reversible Apron: Saturday, November 12, 12:15-4:15 p.m. Enjoy lunch with us and then stitch up this wonderful apron.

The cost of each Sew Holiday session is $20.00 (which includes instruction and the meal) plus a kit fee. Information on cost of kits will be available shortly.

We will be closed Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, September 3rd through Monday, September 5th.
