Toiletry Bags for Bolton House

Sew Complete will be hosting a community service Open House on Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.  Please come and help us make simple toiletry bags for Bolton Refuge House.  These bags will be filled with small containers of such items as shampoo, soap, conditioner, lotion, etc.  We hope to fill many bags again this year--the clients at Bolton House really appreciate them.  If you have an excess of small sample sized, unopened toiletries that you are willing to donate, it would be appreciated.  Several people have brought in extras from their hotel stays.  The more toiletries we have, the more bags we can make and fill.  For more information call 1-800-924-4075

Izzy's Anniversary/Creative Sew Day

  "Creative Sew" day Celebration

To celebrate Izzy's 1st anniversary with us (her 11th birthday), Sew Complete hosted a "Creative Sew" day on Saturday, June 14, 2014.  We designed "Isabelle's Project Bag".  Participants used different machines to complete their bag.  Each bag has a large embroidered pocket on the outside, is fully lined and has 3 inside pockets, 2 of which are zippered.

Sew Complete, as the name suggests, is a full service sewing shop. We’re an authorized dealer for BERNINA, Pfaff and Brother sewing machines and provide both sales and support for these high quality machines.

Test drive our demo sewing machines, embroidery machines and sergers to find out which is right for you.

We’ve been serving our friends and neighbors in the Eau Claire, Wisconsin area for over twenty years now, offering fun classes and events, as well as a selection of fabrics, patterns and notions.

Our extensive stock of all purpose, embroidery and specialty threads is one of the largest in the state.

At Sew Complete, our goal is to establish a lifetime relationship with our customers so we can help them get the most enjoyment out of their sewing equipment. Maybe that’s why so many of our customers end up becoming long time friends.

Save the Date for "Sew Holiday Retreat"

Our annual "Sew Holiday Retreat" will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2014.  We will conduct two sessions and offer two main holiday projects and one smaller project.  The first session will take place from 8 a.m.-Noon, and will include breakfast and time to sew one of the projects.  Session two will run from 12:15 p.m.-4:15 p.m. and will include lunch and time to sew one of the projects.  Each session is $25 plus the fee for the project kit.  One of the projects is a trivet made from bright wintery fabric and clothesline rope and the other project is a set of 4 place mats made with coordinating bright wintery fabric.  The small project can be made at either session.  It is a stocking made from wool felt, the size of an ornament, and can be used as a table decoration, a gift decoration or an ornament.  Please make your reservation for one or both sessions by Tuesday, November 11, 6 p.m.,  so that we may plan for meals and kits.  for more information call 1-800-924-4075.

Back to School Notebook Cover

A "Sew Creative" afternoon was held on Tuesday, August 19.  Participants made a back to school (fall-themed) notebook cover.  It featured a tiny embroidery design, a zippered pocket in the flap for "small stuff", tabs to hold a pen while keeping the book closed and decoratively serged edges.  Everyone was invited to try out these techniques on different machines.

Meet Izzy

Izzy joined our family in June 2013, and our staff at Sew Complete.  Her official title at the shop is "hostess". Now that she is feeling familiar with her surroundings, she has also taken on responsibilities as greeter.
