On Saturday, October 26, we will be hosting a sewing party and will make "toiletry bags" for Bolton Refuge House. The little bags are easy to make--no experience necessary. We try to put an assortment of new (not previously opened) bottles and tubes of sample or hotel size shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion etc. in these bags. We are grateful for any donations of items for these bags. Treats will be available while you sew.

24th Annual Warmth From Wisconsin Quilt Contest
The 2013/2014 WWIB/SEW COMPLETE "Warmth From Wisconsin" quilt contest
has officially started. This year half of the quilts will go to those in need in Mexico, through YOUTH WITH A MISSION, and half will go to APPLE Pregnancy Center, Inc. of Eau Claire. There are two categories of quilts--make a quilt 60" x 72" or larger, or a quilt that is at least 46" x 46", but not more than 60" x 40". All quilts must have a "starter block" obtained from Sew Complete stitched somewhere in the quilt top. For more information call 1-800-924-4075 or stop in at Sew Complete.
